Help Needed for Food Delivery to Pro Labore Dei

Our parish has been blessed with the opportunity to support Pro Labore Dei’s mission to feed the hungry. Each day of the week, Trader Joe’s in Orland Park donates perishable food to many who are hungry. They have offered us “Saturdays” to help get that food to the hungry. Hence, we are asking for the help of two or three people / families, who have a pick-up truck or van or SUV, to help once every two or three months to pick up and deliver the food.

Multi-Parish Home Build Mission Project – Sign-Up Information

“Let us build a house where love can dwell” – Date of Mission on June 21 and 22 at Incarnation / St. Terrence Parish – we will do more than build a house. We will come together as a faith community. We will pray, laugh, renew old friendships and build new relationships.

Men’s Scripture Sharing

Join the men of our parish every Saturday morning from 7 to 8:20 AM in the St. Michael Ministry Room West to read the upcoming Sunday scriptures and engage in conversation on the meaning of the scriptures and how they apply to our lives. When the session concludes, the men attend the 8:30 AM Saturday morning Mass.

Rebuilding Together

In partnership with Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago, a local organization that assists the elderly, disabled and low-income residents in our communities, we will help a family in Park Forest with some routine repairs and maintenance needs, such as painting and yard work. Helping hands like yours are essential to sustaining communities and preserving home ownership. You do not need to be a skilled laborer and this is a great service opportunity for teens.
