CONFIRMATION

The Christian life is an ongoing journey. In the Sacrament of Confirmation we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit comes to us enabling and empowering us to live our Baptismal commitment as sons and daughters of God by being actively involved in the mission and message of Jesus.
Ë Preparation begins in level (grade) 7 with the study of the message and mission of Jesus Christ. Two parent/candidate meetings are held in the 2nd semester.
Ë Continuing through level (grade) 8, candidates for Confirmation study Confirmation Gifted With the Spirit;
Ë Attend and participate all formation meetings for parents, sponsors and Candidates;
Ë Choose the Confirmation name with appropriate research on their model of faith;
Ë Attend and participate in the Day of Reflection;
Ë And engage in a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer service.
Ë Candidates are confirmed in the spring of the 8th grade year.
