St. Michael Parish Chili Contest
The Fall Fest 2011 Chili Contest is designed as a family/organization fun event and is open to anyone from the parish, parish organizations and certain community groups such as police and fire groups but not open to any restaurant or professional chef.

Contest hours will be: set up at 1pm and judging from 2-4pm.
Each contestant will provide Chili and any other condiments at no charge to Fall Fest 2011. There will be an entry fee charged to the contestants of $10.00 per entry.
All revenue collected as a result of the contest will be forwarded to St. Michael Parish and the Fall Fest 2011 event account.
The judges of the Chili contest will actually be anyone who purchases a $5.00 sampler, consisting of 10 sample cups and one vote ticket. Judges will then choose which 10 chilies they would like to sample.
After sampling their choices, they will give their vote card to the chili contest officials indicating whose product they choose.
If a judge wishes to sample more chili, another sampler, which will include another vote card, must be purchased.
The contestant with the most vote cards at the end of the contest hours will be declared winner of the Fall Fest 2011 Chili Contest.
Winner will receive a "Bragging Rights Chili Certificate", a picture in our parish bulletin and the local newspapers plus a $250.00 cash award.
Prizes will also be awarded for best dressed cook and best decorated table. Prizes will be posted one week prior to the contest date.
To enter, simply check back soon for a link ot the registration form. Once completed, drop off your form to the parish office during normal business hours.
