English as a Second Language

Orland Park is its own "melting pot" filled with people whose first language is not English.  We hope to give adults an opportunity too begin, practice, and/or improve their English language skills.  Classes consist of students whose first language is Polish, Lithuanian, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic.  We meet weekly on Sunday mornings in the McLaughlin Commons, beginning in Spetember through April 25th (no class on Easter Sunday).  Session one meets at 10:30 am and session two meets are 11:45 am.  Students are invited to come for one or both sessions.  We have a large group of volunteer teachers so students can often receive one-on-one instruction.
